Yosemite Van Life Camping Spots
Yosemite Campgrounds tend to book up very quickly. All campgrounds within the Yosemite National Park require reservations and book up very quickly. Car camping/Van camping is allowed at the following campgrounds at the Yosemite National Park: Upper Pines, Lower Pines and North Pines. You can make reservations by clicking on the campground name. We know that booking a reservation inside one of the Yosemite National Park campgrounds can be difficult, here are some options outside the park. However, remember that you will still need to purchase a day pass to enter the park even if you are camping outside the national park. As a reminder, dogs are not allowed on dirt trails in Yosemite as in most other National Parks. Dogs are allowed on campgrounds and paved trails.

Mountain View RV Park
Paradise Shores Camp is an incredible campground within a short drive of Yosemite. The campground is located at the Bridgeport Reservoir and offers hookup sites. The campground is close to all High Sierra attractions.

Silver Lake Campground - Eastern Sierras
Beautiful, high rated campsite in the Eastern SIerras. Silver Lake offers 63 campsites near Silver Lake. Boat launch and horse packing facillities nearby. Trailhead access to the Ansel Adams Wilderness. This is bear country. Please store food properly and don't feed the bears. Campsites will accommodate a 40 foot vehicle. Drinking water is available. Flush toilets are available. Each campsite is equipped with a bear locker.
